Epidemiologist

Dr. Regina Simeone is an epidemiologist with Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division (CORVD), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her work primarily focuses on maternal and infant outcomes after vaccination or COVID-19 infection. Prior to joining CORVD, Dr. Simeone worked with CDC's Divisions of Reproductive Health and Birth Defects and Infant Disorders, focusing on reproductive outcomes after public health emergencies, medication use during pregnancy, and long term outcomes among infants born with congenital heart defects. She received her PhD and MPH, both in Epidemiology, from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health.
