Dr. Samiyah Althagafi, MD, is a pediatric infectious disease fellow in her second year of fellowship programme.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery with honors from the College of Medicine at Taif University.
During her residency in pediatric medicine she was able to gain extensive medical experience in different aspects of medicine with a great passion and deep interest in pediatric infectious diseases.
Her interests include infections in immune compromised hosts particularly in HIV patients, antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention.
Dr. Samiyah is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) and Saudi Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (SPIDS).
