My name is IVAN FELIPE GUTIERREZ, and I live in Bogota, Colombia, in South America. I completed my studies in pediatrics in Bogota, and I specialized in Infectology at the Autonomous University of Mexico. Currently, I work as the coordinator of the Infectology service at the Santa Maria del Lago Children's Clinic and the Colsbusidio Children's Clinic in Bogota, and I am the coordinator of the infection prevention and control program and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. My research experience is based on pneumococcus, S. aureus, and respiratory viruses, and I focus much of my efforts on Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs, with research ideas and tools and strategies that contribute to their optimization. I am an ad honorem professor of pediatrics and the pediatric Infectology program, and a member of the Colombian Society of Pediatrics, the Colombian Association of Infectology, and the Latin American Society of Pediatric Infectology.
