Kristen Andreatta is from the San Francisco Bay Area and holds a M.Sc. from San Francisco State University in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences. She worked at the San Francisco VA Medical Center studying HBV before joining Gilead as a Clinical Virologist in 2009. During her career at Gilead, she has focused on viral drug resistance, working on both HIV and SARS-CoV-2 antivirals in clinical development.
