Nina Masters is an Epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in the Viral Vaccine Preventable Diseases Branch within the Division of Viral Diseases in NCIRD. While an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer, she deployed to Rockland County, New York as part of the 2022 polio response, during which she led the provider outreach efforts to improve vaccination for not up-to-date children. She completed her PhD and MPH at the University of Michigan in Epidemiology, focusing on vaccine hesitancy and implications of pockets of unvaccinated persons and their impacts on community disease dynamics.
